The Henry D. Moore Parish House and Library has served the Steuben, ME community for over a century. Founded in 1911, it provides public library services, meeting spaces, and diverse programs promoting artistic, cultural, educational, civic, and social enrichment. Its mission is to offer readily available materials of contemporary and historical value, fostering intellectual stimulation and community engagement in a welcoming atmosphere.
Mission
The Henry D. Moore Library obtains, organizes, preserves, and makes readily available materials of contemporary interest, historical value, and permanent value. They serve the entire community's education, intellectual stimulation and pleasure, in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere that maintains the historic nature of the building and the library's collection.
