Founded in 2011, Hernia Repair for the Underserved (Hernia Help) provides free hernia surgery to underserved children and adults in the Western Hemisphere, guided by the Preferential Option for the Poor. They serve, educate, and empower partner sites, training local surgeons to create self-sustaining hernia repair teams within 5 years.

Hernia Help delivers expertise, service, and compassion to improve the quality of life for hernia patients in the developing world. They serve, educate, and empower partner sites and provide ongoing support so that surgical service trips are no longer necessary to meet the needs of the local community.
