Provides family law-related legal services to indigent individuals throughout the lower Rio Grande Valley in partnership with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid.
Celebrate Freedom Courthouse Tours and Classroom Speaker Bureau
An educational program held each November to educate the public and students about the justice system.
Holiday Toy Drive
Donates toys to underprivileged children during the Christmas season.
Law Day
Coordinates educational programs in schools, including contests, to promote understanding of the law.
Mock Trial Competitions
Challenges high school students to develop communication and critical thinking skills through mock trials.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Supports local food banks and economically disadvantaged families with food donations.
Wills for Heroes
Provides free wills and powers of attorney to retired veterans and emergency first responders.
HCBF Scholarship Endowment Fund
Offers scholarship opportunities to Hidalgo County college seniors attending law school.
