Hillside Restoration Project, founded in 2003, preserves the Hillside Estate, home of John B. Gough, a 19th-century temperance leader. Originally a joint venture with the Boylston Historical Society, it aims to restore the estate to be a center for studying American reform movements and offering educational and cultural programs, especially for youth.
