Horizons' Lifestyle and Education Team, est. 2007, enhances education and lifestyle in Valley County, ID. Born from a U of I Extension program, it addresses poverty, promotes healthy lifestyles, and provides affordable activities for residents and visitors in the West Central Mountains. Initiatives include Birding Club, Community Garden, Cascade Cultural Arts Center and support for Cascade and McCall Farmers Markets.
