About
Housing Whitefish, est. 2005, is a results-oriented nonprofit dedicated to improving housing affordability in Whitefish, MT. Formerly the Whitefish Area Land Trust, it became independent in 2022. They stabilize the rental market via tenant assistance, increase housing supply with new construction, and advocate for reform. Their Workforce Rental Assistance Program launched in 2024 and has already impacted over 112 individuals.
Mission
Housing Whitefish advocates, creates and plans for the sustainable supply of housing that everyone in our community can afford. As the community grows, their vision is to maintain the spirit of Whitefish while strengthening the community and fulfilling the ongoing demand for affordable housing.
