Hui O Ho'ohonua, founded in 2015 in Ewa Beach, HI, is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to restoring the health of the land, water, and people of the 'Ewa moku. They address climate change and environmental injustice through community philanthropy and aloha 'āina, fostering a love for the land by engaging individuals in service opportunities, place-based education, and cultural practices to restore native habitats.
Mission
Hui o Ho`ohonua is a non-profit created by members of the `Ewa community. Their primary mission is to end the perpetuation of historical trauma to the land, water, and people in the `Ewa Moku on `Oahu.
