The Humane Society of Stanislaus County, est. 2007, focuses on community outreach to help companion animals. Dedicated volunteers provide low-cost spay/neuter vouchers, pet clinic services, and a pet food pantry. Originally involved in animal rescue, foster, and adoption, they transitioned to community outreach in 2019, expanding services to assist more animals and low-income residents in Stanislaus County.
Mission
The Humane Society of Stanislaus County provides shelter, medical and adoption services to abandoned, neglected, and abused companion animals. They also offer other humane services as needed within the limits of Stanislaus County.
