Beginning Cubes/Sabots AM
Teaches the basics of sailing, including rigging, wind direction, and racing basics to children ages 8 and up.

Teen Beginning Cubes/Sabots PM
Designed for older beginners aged 11 and up, this afternoon class covers the same instruction as the AM class, better suited for stronger winds.

Intermediate Cubes/Sabots, O’pen Skiffs, Optimists
Develops better sailing skills and competitive racing techniques for experienced sailors aged 9 and up in stronger winds, preparing them for regattas.

Introduction to Racing
For sailors with previous experience aged 9 and up, this class focuses on advanced racing rules and boat speed improvement, with opportunities to race single and double-handed boats.

The Huntington Beach Sailing Foundation, established in 2010, promotes sailing among youths. Its mission is to cultivate interest in local, national, and international sailing, maritime education, and environmental stewardship. The foundation provides instructors, equipment, and facilities to encourage youth participation, especially reaching out to underprivileged, economically disadvantaged, and physically challenged youth in Huntington Beach and Southern California.
