They envision a world where all patients access expert, trauma-informed healthcare. The Foundation funds forensic nurses, providing specialized care, connecting survivors to resources, increasing access to justice, and improving community safety through evidence collection.
Mission
The IAFN Foundation champions the role of forensic nursing globally, striving to reduce the health effects of violence and trauma and ensure every survivor has access to quality healthcare. They work with nurses and communities to give survivors of violence access to forensic nurses with the skills and resources to provide the highest quality care.
