Founded in 2005, the Illinois Alaskan Malamute Rescue Association (IAMRA) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to the welfare of Alaskan Malamutes. As an affiliate of AMAL, IAMRA provides rescue, foster, adoption, owner retention, and assistance with behavioral issues. They shelter and care for abandoned Malamutes, providing medical care and helping them find forever homes. IAMRA is committed to keeping pets safe, happy and healthy.
Mission
IAMRA is dedicated to the welfare of the Alaskan Malamute breed. They are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity providing assistance through dog rescue, foster and adoption, owner retention, and behavioral issue support.
