The Illinois Fire Inspectors Association (IFIA), founded in 1982, is dedicated to reducing deaths and injuries from fire and other dangers through education, enforcement, and engineering. IFIA offers OSFM Certified Fire Inspector classes, training, and seminars. The association strives to advance knowledge in code enforcement, fire safety education, fire investigation, and legislation.
