Imagination Theater, founded in 1966 (originally as Playmakers), provides diverse audiences with original, dynamic, participatory theater that enhances well-being and creates a more civil society. IT addresses issues that disable society through touring performances. IT became a program of Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center in 2025, strengthening the shared mission to educate and empower young people.
