Founded in 1985, the Independent Cattlemen's Association of Texas (ICA) is a grassroots organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of Texas cattlemen. ICA promotes policies supporting cattlemen, combats hindering regulations, promotes beef consumption, protects private property rights, encourages youth involvement, and educates consumers about US beef. ICA strives to preserve the values and way of life of cattlemen.

The Independent Cattlemen's Association of Texas strives to preserve cattlemen’s thinking, way of life and values. They promote change that supports efforts of cattlemen and their well being, while combating policy that hinders the progress of the cattle industry.
