The Indian River Citrus League, established in 1952, advocates for and enhances the Indian River citrus name. It represents packinghouses, gift fruit shippers, and citrus sales agencies within the Indian River Citrus District. The league originally formed to protect the Indian River name and now advocates for the citrus industry.
