The Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute, founded in 1987, is Indiana's only independent, statewide source of ongoing research into the impact of state taxing and spending policies. Supported by various organizations, corporations, and individuals, IFPI's mission is to enhance the effectiveness and accountability of state and local government through education on significant fiscal policy issues. The institute relies on objective research evidence and does not lobby or support candidates.
