The Indigenous People's Council for Marine Mammals (IPCoMM), founded in 2015, is an Alaska Native Organization composed of 17 member organizations. IPCoMM advocates for Alaska Native ways of life that involve marine mammals. They partner with federal agencies, scientists, and tribes to protect marine mammal species, the environment, and Alaska Native traditions through co-management agreements.
