The Infectious Diseases Society of New York (IDSNY), founded in 1993, unites infectious disease specialists in the NYC metro area. As a regional arm of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, IDSNY responds to public health crises, strengthens the ID community, promotes education/research, and informs public health policy. They hold an annual Harold C Neu Symposium and aim to foster mentorship and research.

IDSNY brings together the community of infectious diseases specialists in the Metropolitan NY area. Its membership is comprised of physicians, researchers and others with a strong interest in Infectious Diseases.
