The ISLA PTO enhances educational opportunities at the International Spanish Language Academy (ISLA) in Edina, MN. Founded in 2009, this volunteer-led group of parents, grandparents, and staff supports ISLA's mission through fundraising, community events, and curriculum enrichment. They fully fund the Language Ambassador Program, which brings native Spanish speakers to the school, and coordinate events like Fiesta de la Primavera.
Mission
The ISLA PTO enhances students' immersion experience by funding Language Ambassadors, providing teacher and classroom support, and funding ISLA community activities. They maximize children’s education experience and build a strong community connection.
