Iowa State Al-Anon Family Groups Assembly, Inc., founded in 1994, is dedicated to helping families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a loved one through shared experiences, strength, and hope. Alateen, a part of Al-Anon, is a recovery program for young people sponsored by Al-Anon members.
