About
The Italian Welfare League, founded in 1920, began by assisting Italian veterans of WWI. Today, this 501(c)(3) charity supports needy individuals of Italian descent and charitable organizations. Their main program, I Nostri Bambini, provides grants to local families and schools for medical, educational, and safety needs.
Mission
The Italian Welfare League is dedicated to providing care and support to children in need, lending a helping hand to those bambini most needy within “la Famiglia”. With a legacy of care, achievement, and impact, it is one of New York's oldest Italian charities.
