The Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI), founded in 1997, fosters community connections and support for Ithaca City School District students and teachers. IPEI enhances education through engagement, collaboration, gifts, and grants, offering Teacher Grants, Red and Gold Grants, and Connecting Classrooms Grants. It values enhanced educational experiences, community involvement, creativity, and responsiveness, enriching students' daily experiences.
