The Iwo Jima Memorial Historical Foundation, founded in 1996, maintains the National Iwo Jima Memorial Park in New Britain, CT, and educates the public about the Battle of Iwo Jima. The foundation took over care of the park and continues the educational program after the Iwo Jima Survivors were no longer able to do so.
