The Jacob Sears Memorial Library in East Dennis, MA, established in 1896 following Jacob Sears' bequest, has served the community's educational and cultural needs for over 125 years. Housed in a historic French chateau-style building, the library offers diverse programs and events while preserving its unique character. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Jacob Sears Memorial Library has served the educational and cultural mission articulated by its benefactor Jacob Sears (1823-1871). For well over 125 years, it has been a community gathering place, hosting plays, lectures, musical performances, classes, and neighborhood events.
