Educates and lobbies for clean air, water, recycling, and organic farming. Includes the Queen Bee Challenge for sustainable lawn care.

Contributes to beautification projects in central Virginia, such as gardens at the Anna Julia Cooper School and past projects like planting on Monument Avenue.
