The Japanese Language School of Philadelphia (JLSP), est. 1972, is a non-profit offering Japanese language and cultural programs. Recognized by Pennsylvania and funded by Japan's Ministry of Education, JLSP provides instruction in Japanese curriculum (grades 1-12), Heritage Language classes (ages 6-18), Second Language classes for adults, and pre-school classes (ages 4-6). JLSP aims to promote US-Japan friendship through language and cultural exchange.
