About
The Jeffrey Foundation, est. 1972 by Alyce Morris Winston, supports special needs children & their families. Originating from a need for daycare for her son Jeffrey (muscular dystrophy), it grew into an agency offering infant intervention, early education, camps, group homes, social work, after-school & inclusion programs. Serving children with various disabilities, the Foundation leads in community integration, workshops, & family support services.
Mission
The Jeffrey Foundation's mission is to make life more productive and happier by assisting special needs children and their families. They help them meet challenges posed by developmental disabilities, autism, multiple handicaps, poverty, abuse, abandonment, and neglect through quality programming and support.
