About
The John M Nelson Conservancy, founded in 1985, preserves and protects natural habitats for future generations. Formed after the breakup of Camp Nelson Resort, it acquired a six-and-a-half-acre meadow in 1997. The Conservancy also received property donations for a meeting room, office, equipment storage, and an RV park. They are adding an adjoining parcel to expand community activities.
