The JP Opioid Interaction Awareness Alliance, founded in 2014, raises awareness about the dangers of mixing opioids with other medications, especially benzodiazepines and anti-anxiety drugs. They offer education and community-based collaborations to prevent lethal drug interactions and provide scholarships to pharmacy students.
Mission
Through education and public awareness, the JP Opioid Interaction Awareness Alliance strives to eliminate lethal opioid drug interactions within five years.
