Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Secret Meals
Provides non-perishable meals to children identified by school counselors as needing food on the weekend.
Park Side Playground (LJA Signature Project)
Oversees the upkeep and maintenance of the playground in Mason Park, built in 2002.
Crown Club
A program for 10th and 11th grade girls focused on service and leadership, requiring a minimum GPA and service hours.
Very Special Arts
Annual festival in conjunction with the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art for special needs children in Jones County and surrounding areas, providing music, arts, and crafts.
Chic Chat (9th Grade Academy)
Mentors 9th grade girls on topics such as conflict resolution, bullying, and stress management to encourage staying in school.
GIRL TALK
One-day workshop for 8th grade girls providing information on girls' health, self-esteem, and healthy choices.
Done In A Day
Provides assistance to other community organizations with manpower for various projects.
Scholarship
Awards scholarships to high school seniors from the Laurel and Jones County schools.
Child Abuse Awareness
Members perform puppet shows to first-grade students to heighten awareness of child abuse and neglect and identify helpful individuals.
Family Matters
Provides school uniforms to children in need in the Laurel and Jones County schools.
