The Junior League of Albany, founded in 1917, is an organization of women committed to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. They support diverse community projects, including the HATAS Weekend Backpack program and Journey's Palliative Care Program at Albany Medical Center. For their Centennial, they granted $100,000 to Capital Region organizations focused on alleviating hunger and improving the wellness of women and children.
