The Junior League of Tuscaloosa, founded in 1975, is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its roots trace back to 1929 as the Junior Welfare Association. Today, they run programs such as the Holt Elementary School Partnership, International Find the Good Day, and the Period Pantry initiative.
