JUST VOICES, founded in 2021, is dedicated to ending racially-biased policing in Iowa. They work to educate, advocate, and collaborate to achieve a society free from racial oppression. The organization was formed after years of research by Harvey Harrison, who sought to address racial profiling in Des Moines and statewide.
Mission
Just Voices strives to speak truth and seek justice. They envision a just society, free from racial oppression and are working to strengthen laws that ban racial profiling at the local and state level.
