Founded in 2001, Justice by Uniting in Creative Energy (J.U.i.C.E.) emerged in response to the needs of underserved youth, particularly incarcerated youth, in the MacArthur Park area of Los Angeles. J.U.i.C.E. provides a safe, youth-run center focused on skill-building in hip-hop arts, offering exciting, inspirational, and educational programs with mentoring. Their programs promote personal well-being. J.U.i.C.E. has expanded to include international exchanges, music production, and performances, with many participants achieving artistic acclaim.
Mission
J.U.i.C.E. addresses the needs of underserved and incarcerated youth through exciting, inspirational, and educational programs. They offer mentoring by peers in fields the youth respect, with the ground rule of respect for all.
