Kairos Counseling Center, founded in 1977 in Elgin, IL, provided quality, affordable counseling for over five decades. The center offered counseling sessions on a sliding-fee scale, serving hundreds of clients annually. Unfortunately, the organization closed effective March 31, 2025.
