Kalamazoo Collective Housing (KCH), est. 2009, is a consensus-based cooperative creating conditions for members to support each other. KCH owns and stewards affordable housing, sharing resources and learning together. They envision a network of co-ops addressing low-income residents' needs, supporting the local community, and exemplifying sustainable living. KCH develops affordable housing, builds leaders, supports local businesses, and prioritizes environmental and economic sustainability.
Mission
Kalamazoo Collective Housing creates conditions where members take care of each other by cooperatively owning and stewarding affordable housing, sharing resources, and learning and teaching together.
