Kids Against Cancer, founded in 1983 by Michael Grillo, aims to improve the quality of life for children battling cancer. Originating from Grillo's personal experiences and desire to bring joy to hospitalized children, the organization seeks to provide care in a setting removed from the clinical environment, offering a special place for kids to heal from the outside in.
Mission
Kids Against Cancer aims to create a cheerful and uplifting atmosphere for children with cancer or blood borne diseases, providing treatment in a setting that promotes health and high spirits. Their mission is to open the first Kids Against Cancer Pediatric Oncology Center, a special place for kids to heal.
