Kids Soar, founded in 1989, empowers children and families in the Roanoke Valley to break the cycle of poverty through education. This faith-based nonprofit offers after-school programs, youth programs, adult and family services, and summer programs to support literacy and empower the next generation to SOAR to success. They started as a ministry at Trinity United Methodist Church.
