Child Protection and Family Support Team
Provides coordinated case planning and safety support by bringing together human service providers to work with parents/caregivers whose children are at risk of abuse or neglect.

Mandated Reporter Training
Trains individuals working with children to recognize and report signs of abuse and neglect, as mandated by law.

Children and Recovering Mothers ('CHARM') Team
Ensures coordinated services for pregnant and postpartum women with a history of opiate dependence, supporting healthy outcomes for mothers and babies.

KidSafe Collaborative Council
Facilitates collaboration between agencies and community leaders to improve communication, coordination, and the child welfare system.

Community Advisory Board
Advises the Family Services Division of Vermont's DCF, providing input from consumers and community members to improve policy and practice.

KidSafe Collaborative, founded in 1987, is a partnership of over 30 agencies working to prevent and address child abuse and neglect in Chittenden County, VT. KidSafe's mission is to engage community groups, individuals, and agencies to improve the community’s prevention of and response to child abuse and neglect. They are the only independent agency solely focused on this issue.
