Killer Whale Tales, founded in 2000, is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. They use storytelling and science to inspire students to take action in Southern Resident killer whale conservation. Through programs and activities, students learn about orca research, field techniques, and conservation challenges, fostering environmental awareness and stewardship of the Puget Sound.
Mission
Killer Whale Tales educates children about the eco-system and inspires positive change for the endangered Southern Resident killer whales (SRKW) of the Salish Sea.
