Kinderhook Lake Corporation (KLC), founded in 2021, is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to maintaining and improving Kinderhook Lake in NY. KLC works with the DEC to manage water levels, control weeds and algae, and stock fish. They inform the community through newsletters, a website, and Facebook, and host events like kayak rallies and boat parades. KLC also sells merchandise to support lake management programs.
