About
Established in 1968, Krewe of Attakapas was the first women's carnival krewe in Lafayette, LA. The Krewe was founded to honor men of the community who have devoted their time and talents to Lafayette, Mardi Gras, and the Krewe. The Krewe remains a mystic organization and celebrated its 55th Ball in 2024.
