The Krewe of Bilge, founded in 1978, celebrates Carnival season with a decorated boat parade in Slidell, Louisiana. With over 400 members, they toss beads and favors to the shoreline. They host social events and one of the area’s largest Poker Runs on Memorial Day weekend. Frequently listed as one of the Top 20 Events by the Southern Tourism Society.
Mission
Founded in 1978, the Krewe of Bilge celebrates the Carnival season with a membership of over 400 members, parading along the canals of the Eden Isles subdivision with costumed and decorated boats.
