The Lake Minnetonka Garden Club, formed in 1927 and a member of the Garden Club of America since 1929, promotes gardening, horticulture, floral design, garden history, and photography. It works to protect the environment through conservation efforts. The Club notably donated land to establish the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and supports various community gardens and conservation projects, addressing invasive species and preserving native plants.
