Search and Rescue Operations
Finding lost individuals, rescuing the injured and stranded, and recovering the deceased in wilderness and mountainous terrain within Larimer County.
Wilderness Safety Education
Providing presentations on wilderness safety topics for all ages, covering navigation, shelter building, avalanche safety, and other essential skills.
Basic Search and Rescue Training (BASART)
Training new members in essential SAR skills, team practices, and operating procedures through classroom and field sessions.
Emergency Services Exploration Series (ESES)
An interactive educational program for Larimer County community members to learn about the Sheriff's Office involvement in emergency services.
