Libraries of Love, founded in 2005 by Trudy Marshall, builds libraries in Uganda and Kenya. This Pflugerville-based nonprofit collects and ships books to create organized libraries in schools. They have established libraries in over 41 schools in Uganda and 7 in Kenya, serving thousands of students.
Mission
Libraries of Love promotes literacy in Africa by partnering with Africans to create libraries in schools. They provide financial support for educational development and address humanitarian needs in Africa.
