About
Lighthouse, Inc., founded in 1972, is a Maryland Youth Service Bureau providing family and individual counseling, especially for adolescents. It focuses on restoring healthy family relationships and nurturing youth into responsible community members. They offer services addressing mental health challenges, life stressors, trauma, and relationship issues. The Together Project supports families affected by substance abuse and addiction. Lighthouse aims to prevent negative outcomes for youth at risk of self-harm, substance use, school failure, and juvenile justice involvement.
Mission
Lighthouse provides child-focused family counseling, as well as individual counseling for adolescents and transitional-age young adults, working to restore healthy relationships within families, and nurture youth to become responsible, productive members of the community.
