Founded in 1931, the Little Garden Club of Rye focuses on civic beautification, conservation, and historic preservation. The club has been involved in plantings at the Rye Library, landscaping at United Hospital, and maintaining the Rye Post Office garden. They saved the Parsons Tract, now the Rye Nature Center. The LGCR supports community projects through fundraising events and maintains a native wildflower garden for education and beauty.
