Founded in 2007, LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER SUPPORT ORG (LASSO) supports the Elko County Animal Shelter in Nevada. LASSO's mission is to eliminate pet overpopulation and euthanasia through spay/neuter programs. They built and support the Dumke/Weeks Spay/Neuter Clinic, and have facilitated the spaying/neutering of over 8,000 animals. They also promote animal welfare projects in Elko County.
