Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Chinese Language and Culture Program
Teaches Chinese language and culture with dance, drawing, chess, and more to explore multiculturalism. Benefits over 500 students and their parents each semester.
Bilingual Interactive Program
For children with limited or no Chinese-speaking background. Uses interactive conversations and the Pinyin system to teach speaking and writing in Chinese.
Traditional Program
For children who speak and understand Mandarin Chinese at home, focusing on rigorous language learning.
Cultural Classes
Offers classes in Chinese calligraphy, chess, art, poster design, singing, traditional dance, diabolo, martial arts, yoga, and more.
Adult Classes
Offers classes and programs for adults based on demand, such as Chinese language, yoga, and crochet.

About
Long Island School of Chinese Inc (LISOC), founded in 2000, is a non-profit, volunteer-run school in Jericho, NY. LISOC, the sole Long Island branch of the Huaxia Chinese School system, offers Chinese language and culture programs for students from preschool to 10th grade, including AP Chinese. Extracurriculars include calligraphy, painting, music, dance, and debate.
Mission
Long Island School of Chinese is dedicated to providing high-quality Chinese language education and rich cultural experiences. The school promotes Chinese language and culture within the community.
